New Creation Community is a Presbyterian congregation organized in 1987. We believe that the ongoing growth and development of ourselves as members of the Body of Christ (the Church) takes place best within a framework of worship, nurture, and witness. We see ourselves as being transformed into the new creation God intends us to be, as we grow in faithfulness to the way of Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:16-21).

Our worship style is informal and participatory. We worship each Sunday evening beginning at 5:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church in Redhead Hall to allow our worship to become a resource to the community. Worship includes the Lord’s Supper and a simple meal, which follows the tradition of the early Christian communities.

As members of the Body of Christ, we seek to be transformed into the new creation God intends us to be as we grow in faithfulness to the way of Jesus. The more we venture out in faith, the more we do things that require faith, the more our faith will grow. Our life together is focused around our worship, study, fellowship and witness. As we do these things together, we seek to grow into a community through the work of the Holy Spirit.
